Marketing Manager:
Championed by the CEO and President, I led the revitalization of the marketing department to form a strategic, proactive and responsive unit. By driving key initiatives and forging the marketing strategy for Cutter & Buck, CBUK and Annika brands in the golf channel, I provided the catalyst for profitability after twelve consecutive quarters of declining profits. Season-to-season sales and market share realized increased in excess of 10% and 5% respectively.

Global Brand Services Director:
As part of the leadership team reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, I was charged to form a new global division accountable for the creation, development and execution of all marketing strategies. By working cross-functionally with each brand division head, we expanded the brand experience resulting in the #1 ski brand in North America and the #2 snowboard brand globally in market share.

  • Developed and created all marketing materials across the various K2 Sports brands
  • Directed a five person team in the creation and execution of online/web, retail/trade environments, print/collateral materials, sell-in/sell-thru materials, project and event management
  • Crafted go-to-market product campaign strategies

National Sales Manager, K2 Snowboards:
Energetic team player capable of adapting to a dynamic changing market place, I reported directly to the VP of Sales. My efforts resurrected the K2 Snowboarding brand after consecutive year-to-year decline in sales. By repositioning the K2 Snowboard brand back to its core values, recruiting talent to strengthen the rep force, providing clear product direction and tightening distribution, K2 Snowboard returned to growth. These actions led to reductions in obsolete inventory, margin increases in excess of 3%, sales growth of 10% and an overall increase in the average per unit sale price. K2 Snowboards solidified itself as the 2nd most recognized snowboard brand globally.

  • P&L responsibility for the K2 Snowboard Division representing $15 mm business unit
  • Directed the brand and product strategy across footwear, apparel and hardgoods
  • Formulated the distribution strategy returning K2 into 8 of the 10 most influential retailers

Sourcing and Product Planning Manager:
Reporting to the VP of Operations, I developed and recruited for a new global division within K2 Sports. Constructing a new entity, I successfully sourced factories, developed product lines, negotiated prices, managed forecasts and inventory globally. The result was an average increase in margins of 3% per category across footwear, apparel and hardgoods, a reduction in global inventory risk, improved delivery and quality.
